UCHC CODE OF CONDUCT FOR MEALSITES
We would like your experience at UCHC meals to be a pleasant one. To help make it so, UCHC will
- Serve a meal to everyone seated at tables except those who violate UCHC's Code of Conduct
- Share the food equally among all the guests
- Try to honor requests for vegetarian and pork-free meals
- Provide a safe place where all might relax and enjoy themselves
In return, all guests are asked to do the following:
- Remain seated throughout the meal
- Respect the hospitality and property of the meal sites
- Help to set up before and clean up after the meals
- Wear a shirt
The following behaviors are unacceptable:
- Possessing a weapon
- Stealing in or from a meal site
- Fighting
- Verbal abuse of other guests or volunteers
- Threatening guests or volunteers
- Refusing to stop unwanted attention
- Refusing to stop cursing
- Smoking
- Being found in possession of drugs or alcohol
Please note that when behavior violates the criminal code, the appropriate authorities will be called.
Penalties for Violating UCHC's Code of Conduct
For
- Stealing in or from a meal site
- Fighting
- Verbal abuse
- Threatening behavior
- Refusing to stop unwanted attention
- Possession of illegal drugs
First offense: 30-day dismissal
Second offense: 6-month dismissal
Third offense: 1-year dismissal
Fourth offense: permanent dismissal
For
- Refusing to stop cursing
- Smoking
- Possession of alcohol
1-week dismissal
For
- Being found in possession of a concealed weapon as defined by the police (firearms or a long knife)
Permanent dismissal
